Choose Your Path – A real game changer
April 23rd, Lord’s Cricket Ground: the sun is shinning, and the anticipation is building.
RedPixie were delighted to host their annual spring event. This event brought together the best technology partners across a variety of industries. All combined to create a completely 365 perspective as to the tools needed to benefit different companies.
The event began and 9:00am, sharp. With the partner stands in full colour, plenty of giveaways and some fantastic technology at show, there was a great atmosphere from the get go.
While the room was fulling, the tension in the main auditorium was gearing up to give some fantastic presentations.
From the mini-muffins to the pastries, there was already already a sense of enjoyment.
Take a seat…
As the crowd moved into the keynote theatre and the seats filled up, Matthew opened the days preceding and ran through the rules of the games.
“It is good to have an end to journey toward; but it is the journey that matters, in the end.”― Ernest Hemingway
Matt takes the stage to great applause.
We gave people an insight into sli.do – a technology that gave a taster for the interaction to follow, where attendees indicated a keen interested in ‘stealing the ashes’.
We then had a great display from Mitchell, Microsoft’s Samuel Solieman and Romax’s Wes Dowding and Robin Sumner.
Learning great tools such as working ‘smarter not harder’ and how planning a migration is essential to achieve a smooth process.
That commenced the first inning.
Up next to bat was Edward Cook, Centrix Software; Crayon’s Nimesh Kavia; and Adrian Lloyd, Concur. All displayed imaginative solutions that created plentiful gasps. Each party showed the real life transformations that were capable with the utilisation of solutions that are built around people.
With all the great speakers there was a really buzz on social media, with #CYP15 gaining a lot of momentum.

We heard some great quotes such as “we measure our staff on output, rather than input”, Mitchell Feldman, RedPixie.
We were then delighted to do a Q&A with Robin and Wesley from Romax, where we could talk about specific situations where working life and stability could be enhanced. We were delighted to answer some of the sli.do questions and close the presentations.
After a bite of lunch we set off for our tour of Lord’s… what an adventure. From the JP Morgan Media Suite, to seeing the ashes (which were not damaged in any way), it was a real send off to a great morning at the ‘home of cricket’.
With a smile on their faces, and some great tips, the attendees left with a quirky goodie bag.
To all attendees we would love to hear what you thought. To those who didn’t don’t worry, we have many more great to come, sign up here to hear about our next events.
